It’s late, I’m tired and a 5 o’clock wakeup call comes early but I wanted to get this out while it’s still fresh in the mind and will have, at least to myself, some profound import. No doubt we’ve all heard about the burgeoning Brian Williams debacle traveling the internet today, but if not, I’ll fill you on the salient details. Williams had claimed, as recently as last week, that during the Great Iraq Invasion of ’03 he was aboard a helicopter when it was hit by a rocket propelled grenade (referred to as an RPG, ironically) and rode the bird into what we can assume was an emergency landing (the technical military jargon is Crashing).
